<scp>3D</scp> Grid of Carbon Tubes with <scp> Mn <sub>3</sub> O <sub>4</sub> ‐NPs </scp> / <scp>CNTs</scp> Filled in their Inner Cavity as Ultrahigh‐Rate and Stable Lithium Anode

Transition metal oxides are regarded as promising candidates of anode for next-generation lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to their ultrahigh theoretical capacity and low cost, but restricted by conductivity large volume expansion during Li+ intercalation. Herein, we designed constructed a structurally-integrated three-dimensional (3D) carbon tube (3D-CT) grid film with Mn3O4 nanoparticles (Mn3O4-NPs) nanotubes (CNTs) filled in the inner cavity CTs (denoted Mn3O4-NPs/CNTs@3D-CT) high-performance free-standing LIBs. The Mn3O4-NPs/CNTs@3D-CT Mn3O4-NPs 3D-CT not only afford sufficient space overcome damage caused charge discharge processe, also achieves highly efficient channels fast transport both electrons cycling, thus offering outstanding electrochemical performance (865 mAh g−1 at 1 A after 300 cycles) excellent rate capability (418 4 g−1) based on total mass electrode. unique framework structures would open up new route stable, high-capacity, cycle high-rate electrodes Li-ions storage.
